Follow our travels as we head to India for a SEE International expedition. Our objective is to help the volunteer ophthalmologists of SEE International as they perform approximately 100 cataract surgeries in two days in Siliguri, India  https://goo.gl/maps/3r4tKec9bcQ2 .   Afterward, we will be heading to Kathmandu, Nepal to hike in the Himalayas and finish by completing a circumnavigation of the globe. Day Eleven - Cruisin'through Kathmandu Cate on Thamel Street Kathmandu is an incredibly diverse historic city with breathtaking Newari architecture , centuries old Hindu and Buddhist religious sites, and serves as a traveler's off beat intersection . Stepping into Kathmandu is like stepping into another world that everybody should experience at least once in their lifetime. All my bags are packed. I'm ready to go!

Counting down to under 24 hours before the first leg of the trip, departing LAX en route to the UK. Not sure anyone in our house will get much sleep tonight. We'll miss these two like crazy! It's a hard time of year to be a separated family but we couldn't pass up this incredible opportunity for Cate. We're so thankful to SEE, Intl for support in this endeavor.
